The Record
Correct the record
Everything here is sourced, dated and classified — and some of it will still be wrong. If you are the subject of a record, represent one, or simply know better, this is the route. Requests are read by a person, not a form queue.
If a claim is wrong
Tell us which page, which claim, and what the correct position is. If you can point to a source we will trace it. We publish corrections rather than quietly editing: material changes are noted on the page and the entry’s verification date is reset.
If you are the person in the record
You can ask us to correct a claim, add context, tell us a relationship has ended, or object to an entry entirely. We will not remove an accurately sourced factual claim simply because it is unwelcome — the value of a record is that it does not bend — but we will always correct what is wrong, add what is missing, and explain what we hold and why we hold it.
If you are in the UK or EU, this is also the route for a data-protection request. See ourprivacy notice for what we hold and the basis for holding it.
If you are a brand or publicist
You are welcome to submit evidence, and it will be assessed like any other source. You cannot buy inclusion, buy removal, or change how a claim is classified. A submission from a brand is recorded as brand-supplied, because that is what it is.
Copyright
We publish short attributed quotations with a link to the original, and no photographs of people. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, write to the address below with the page, the material, and your contact details.
